The omega-3 fatty acid dietary supplement (DS) calculator is an interactive research tool that reports national estimates for 3 ingredients in omega-3 fatty acid DS. This calculator allows the user to enter ingredient information from omega-3 fatty acid DS labels and generate the appropriate predicted mean values, standard errors (SE) and 95% confidence intervals (CI) for those labeled levels. These values can be saved to build a small database or add to an existing database for national, regional or local dietary intake studies.
